Politics Live: Senate may sit until midnight over childcare package
The Senate has extended sitting hours and could debate the Government’s child care changes until midnight after the package and some cuts to welfare payments from its $4 billion omnibus savings bill.
The move follows pressure from the Senate crossbench to split the measures.
